Spinga
Spinga (1,100 m) is the smallest village in the Gitschberg Jochtal holiday region. This characteristic village is a true oasis of peace. The village enjoys an extremely sunny position and is surrounded by meadows and forests. Ancient walls, sepulchres and monuments are the symbols of a long tradition and an important history. "Spinga Pasture" is one of the areas most loved by excursionists. Here you breathe in pure, crystalline mountain air and smell the scent of blooming meadows and endless forests. Rodengo
His instinct did not let him down: Friedrich von Rodank ordered the construction of Rodengo Castle in 1140. The Castle is set on a rock above the course of the Rienza River. The Castle was never conquered by its enemies and still impresses with its incredible beauty.
Rodengo enjoy a sunny position on a gentle slope and is characterised by big farms, cured hotels, an isolated church located between the village and the castle, and finally by the incredible natural beauty of meadows and forests leading up to Rodengo Pasture at more than 1,800 metres of altitude.
