Alta Pusteria - Three Peaks

Alta Pusteria - Three Peaks is the northern part of Val Pusteria and it includes the towns of San Candido, Sesto Pusteria, Dobbiaco, Villabassa and Braies, ideal places for spending your holidays both in summer and winter.

In summer, you can go hiking on the most beautiful peaks of the entire Val Pusteria: the fascinating Dolomiti di Sesto. You can choose among several excursions suitable to every level of expertise. If you prefer to go biking, there are several cycle paths which covers Val Pusteria such as the famous San Candido – Lienz: 40 km of cycle path which cross the Alta Pusteria and end in the town of Lienz, in Austria. Moreover, in the town of San Candido you will find a summer bob slope, the Fun Bob Baranci!

In winter, the area offers 50 km of ski slopes, 200 km of cross-country ski paths and 5 toboggan slopes. The skiing area of Monte Baranci, Monte Elmo and Croda Rossa offers slopes for every kind of expertise.

Moreover, Alta Pusteria is rich in cultural tradition and many cultural events are organized both in summer and winter.
